  I'm starting to think there's someone messing around with this game.  No word on why the times for the tourney changed, but I hope it has something to do with Ezra.

I can tell you exactly what has happened (or my best guess, which seems the most logical explanation).  Ever since the tournament system was automated, the tournament ran from 3PM-6PM eastern standard time.  The scores were then analyzed, crunched, compounded, etc at 7PM EST (allowing a full hour for any games started at the last second to end), after which the winner (or winners) was/were awarded their prize(s).

This was a good system, worked well, made sense.  However, upon the clock changing for daylight savings time, the tournament moved to 4-7PM EST.  This change probably occurred because of the way the tourney system was coded, and was likely not intentional by Ezra or whoever was coding, it just happened. 

This ended up causing an error in the system, because while the tourney ran from 4-7PM, the numbers were still being crunched at 7PM (rather than 8PM), during which games were still being played. This was likely a small oversight in the way the code was written.  So the system was trying to crunch tourney numbers at 7PM while games were still being played, which essentially caused the whole thing to become slightly unstable, involving some infinite loops and whatnot, and now the scores aren't being uploaded and prizes aren't being awarded properly.

I don't know how the last free for all results ended up in the computer, maybe there was a manual override or maybe the problem is partially fixed.  I can tell you that at least some, maybe all of my theory is correct, and it will take someone going into the code to fix it.  It was not Ezra making some behind the scenes changes, it was coding that did not take into effect daylight savings time, and now it will take some behind the scenes changes to fix it.

Aha...I never thought about that, but it makes sense.  Kudos, Enders!  Although that would mean that Ezra's gone and there's no way of fixing this thing until he takes a look at the website.

  Hell, yes, Pope's scavenger game mode is one of the best things I've seen come out of the customisable options.  He should post the details of it in a seperate thread for us to use.

Ok am loving the uncomprimisable BS that DT  has become with laggy games (and ppl using it to there advantage). The sheer lack of concern by any of the creators of the game since the automated update (EZRA). and my personal favourite which I have never realy complained about but MY (jezzy's and troy's) missing points from the huge teams tounament which now leaves me in 5th place on the overall tounaments leaderboad! (I should be third with 114.0).

  It's a pity it's come to this, but fortunately the Tourney's the only thing that's being majorly affected, so as long as we can play custom team games and the occasional ranked match, who gives a damn about winning Tourneys?
