Oh no, very sorry about the lack of tournament this week, as well as the delay in prizes for the last tournament.
I was on vacation last week. I started that stuff working before I left, but something went wrong and there was no way for me to fix it or even know about it.
Huge teams tournament now be happening October 3rd instead. And Alaric should get his prize in a few days.
Again, I'm real sorry that this happened.

Well done once again to the fantastic four. You guys are proving unstoppable right now. One question, how do you ensure that you play with the same 3 players everytime? Do you simply enter the tournament with the party of players that you want to play with? If so perhaps some of the other players out there would be interested in organising teams properly before hand? I don't doubt for one moment that Improvise, Alaric, Troy and Popey are worthy winners but I think that being organised with a team does make a difference. I'm sure it would make things a lot more fun too. A team should be more than just a collection of individuals randomly thrown together. By playing with the same players each time players bond, tactics are developed and a team is truly formed. Perhaps team names could even be used somehow? I'm not sure if this was the way developers intended team games to be played but clearly it happens. But rather than odd players here and there playing together perhaps we could somehow encourage all players to form proper teams? Obviously the same could be said of 'Small and Large Team' games. Congratulations once again to the fantastic four, you guys are in a league of your own at the moment. What is it next week anyway?

Yep, we were in a party. It should either be Small Teams or Large Teams next week, and it definitely helps if you have a rapport with your teammates. Get the missus on DT more often and she'll improve: problem solved! |

Phew, that was a close tournament. Would have preferred it if BEANNY504 and his teammate hadn't kept quitting on us in the last few minutes, but still...well played.
I'd just like to say to Ezra that, although me and IIXII ImprovisE have different scores, there was a game where his score wasn't uploaded to the leaderboards properly, so we did in fact play together the whole way through and he's eligible for a prize if there's any to give. Scores to follow.

A Strange Tournament Idea. Free for All but the first 8 rounds are Theme Rounds. Then the last two rounds are based on the weapons bought during the previous rounds. This could balance the tournament towards Skill/Luck/sheer craziness and give all players a good chance at getting to unleash the heavier weapons in the final two rounds. Making all the matches a combination of skill and luck. Just a thought if anyone else thinks this could be interesting say so. If it is even a possible edit to a free for all mode.

TO darkstar that sounds like a great idea but most people on the last two rounds will buy death hands or as my kids call it make it rain. The money saved up during the previous rounds would allow people to but shields jump jets and make it rain so while people are getting shot at they are making the others waste their jumpers while the others are blocking the bullets then all the others have to do it jump over and fire a make it rain thus killing alot of tanks and getting a big lead on people becasue the make it rains are unblockable or they could buy the spark ball and kill em slowly as the plane may have come by a couple of times and gave people bookoos of money. |
